Which countries support province-level breakdown?
Full province-level data is available for China (33 provinces), the United States (50 states), the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland plus key regions), and Australia (states and territories). More province-level markets are added regularly.
Is the China province map available in Chinese?
Yes — province names are available in both English and simplified Chinese for teams managing Chinese market operations or reporting to Chinese stakeholders.
How is the geographic data sourced?
Revenue is mapped using the shipping address from each Shopify order. Accuracy depends on Shopify order data quality. Orders with missing or incomplete addresses are excluded from the map.
Can I export the map for presentations?
Yes — export the current map view as a PNG image for use in reports, presentations, or stakeholder communications.
Does the map work for physical retail as well as online sales?
Currently the World Sales Map uses Shopify order data, which represents online sales. POS data from physical retail locations is on the roadmap for inclusion in a future update.
